Edgemere Farm was established in 2013 during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Since then, the all-volunteer-run, non-profit organization has focused on turning a half-acre vacant lot on Beach 45th Street into a lush garden packed with a variety of organically grown produce, flowers, and herbs. Edgemere Farm is fully self-sustaining, with all of the proceeds from sales being put back into the business.
